Welcome to the overtonweather.com website

The Overton weather station is situated in the Hampshire village of Overton. The station is an Oregon Scientific WMR928N linked to a PC which uploads the current weather every 15 mins. If you have any ideas on how the site could be improved please feel free to email webmaster

July 13th The Server which collects the data has had a glitch which meant that it was restarting itself from time to time. The weather software does not restart automatically when the server does. We have now installed a trial program that restarts the weather software when the server starts. There have been short periods recently when data has not been collected.

June 22nd  We have changed the colour scheme and added the Accuweather forecast box. The the site is getting an increasing number of visitors with the result that the we are bumping up against our traffic limit. I am therefore planning to move some of  the information onto other pages so that visitors so that the traffic is reduced for many of the visits. Please click on the feedback and let me know which sections of the current weather page you find most useful. Thank you.
